Bellevue Art Studio is instructed by renowned artist Larine Chung. This is an ongoing studio class with hands-on instruction focusing on developing the students’ classical painting techniques in a contemporary vision. We will cover basic painting knowledge, formal elements of art such as composition, light/shadow value layout, flat vs volume concepts and color theory. Larine Chung received her BFA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong concentrating in painting and printmaking. She is passionate about art and is the principal instructor at the Classical Atelier at Gage Academy and EAC Studio since 2010.
